Poison Ivy

Herbe à puce 2

In this day and age of warnings, disclaimers, and cautionary blurbs of all sorts, I was struck by this not-so-helpful sign that I saw on a recent tour to Montmorency Falls.

To get to the suspension bridge that overlooks the falls, you can walk along the dirt path that runs just feet from the edge of the cliff that created the falls in the first place. 275 feet below is the basin of rock and water that brings the falls to an abrupt end.

If you decide to walk past this sign, poison ivy is the least of your problems…

  2. That’s hilarious! How thoughtful of them, I suppose one wouldn’t want to be scratcing like crazy while laid up in traction.
